Cultural Mondays is a weekly rotating ECA where each Monday students will participate in a different hands-on cultural activity; rotating between Art, Spanish Cooking, and Maritime Culture:

🎨 Art Workshops – Exploring creativity through different techniques and local inspiration. Throughout the program, students will work on one large painting project that they will develop step by step across the sessions. Each student will have their own canvas, allowing them to build their artwork gradually and clearly see their progress over time. Students will choose from culturally inspired themes.

Location: Education Center
Session Time: Mondays, 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

🍳 Spanish Cooking – Preparing traditional Spanish recipes while learning about local ingredients and food culture, guided by Chef Janell. Students may also enjoy pastry and baking sessions as part of the experience. All sessions can be adapted to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Location: Janell Pastry - C. Lazaga, 7, 29680 Estepona, Málaga
Session Time: Mondays, 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Maritime Culture – Exploring Estepona’s fishing heritage through hands-on learning about local fishermen, the sea, traditional boats, and the marine world. The activity will be divided into 3 different workshops:

*Sea Explorers: Children board a training boat to learn basic navigation skills, discover nautical instruments, and understand how to use a compass through fun, hands-on activities at sea.

*Guardians of the Blue: A visit to the fishing port to collect and classify discarded materials, learn about environmental impact and circular economy, and create their own marine-inspired craft.

*Flavours of the Sea: A creative cooking workshop where kids prepare fresh seafood tapas, exploring new tastes, textures, and healthy eating in a fun and interactive way.
