Designed for children aged 7 and above, these engaging and interactive sessions will guide them through the fascinating world of chess. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some experience, this program is structured to develop essential skills such as problem-solving, concentration, and logical thinking. Each class is crafted to challenge and inspire young players, making learning both effective and fun!
What to Expect:
Skill-Based Chess Lessons: Over 8 sessions, students will dive into the complexities of chess at a level appropriate for their age and experience. Classes are tailored to ensure all children, from beginners to those with some chess knowledge, grow their strategic understanding of the game. Here’s a glimpse of the experience:
Learning and Refining Chess Strategies: Children will learn advanced rules, strategic moves, and the importance of planning ahead through engaging demonstrations and guided practice.
Problem-Solving Challenges: Fun puzzles and exercises will sharpen their ability to think critically and plan effectively.
Tournaments & Matches: Kids will participate in friendly games, practicing good sportsmanship and applying their new skills in exciting match scenarios.
Focus and Patience Development: Chess encourages children to think analytically and remain focused, which will support them in academics and beyond.

Start Date: Tuesday, January 21st
Number of Sessions: 8 sessions
Session Time: Tuesdays, 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Age Group: 7+ years old
Location: Education Center (EC)
Minimum Participants per Group: 2 children
Maximum Participants per Group: 10 children
Additional Information:
Deadline for Sign-Up: Thursday, January 17th
Half-Term Break: No ECAs during the week of February 10th, as the education center will be closed.
Refund Policy: Families have up to 24 hours after the first class to decide to drop out and receive a refund for the remaining sessions. If the first session was attended, a one-off cost and a 10% processing fee will be deducted from the total reimbursed amount. After this 24-hour period, refunds will no longer be available.
A dedicated instructor will be present to guide and encourage the children, ensuring they enjoy a fun and intellectually stimulating experience. Give your child the opportunity to strengthen their strategic thinking and have fun mastering the timeless game of chess!
