Across 2 engaging sessions, inspired by the Willems Pedagogy, children explore rhythm, percussion, Boomwhackers, and melodic improvisation through individual and group activities.
Each session offers new opportunities for children to experiment, collaborate, and create music in a fun and supportive environment.
Activities include:
Rhythm Exploration: Develop timing, coordination, and musical precision through rhythm games, body percussion, and group challenges.
Percussion Fun: Experiment with a variety of percussion instruments to create dynamic rhythms and musical patterns.
Boomwhackers Activities: Use Boomwhackers to explore melody, harmony, teamwork, and musical creativity through interactive group performances.
Melodic Improvisation: Encourage creativity and confidence through guided improvisation activities using instruments, voice, and movement.
Musical Collaboration: Participate in ensemble activities that strengthen listening skills, communication, and group coordination.
Listening Adventures: Engage in focused listening games that develop concentration, musical awareness, and auditory memory.
