Originally from Colombia, María José's journey has taken her from Bogotá and Villavicencio to Barcelona and eventually Andalucía, where she fell in love with the culture, traditions, people, and extraordinary food that make this region so special.
During this relaxed and inspiring morning, María José will share her personal story, the experiences that led her to a life centred around food and hospitality, and the lessons she's learned through years of welcoming families and travellers from around the world to her Andalusian home.
Along the way, she'll introduce us to some of the customs, traditions, and flavours that make Andalucía unique, bringing the stories to life through photographs, personal anecdotes, and a small tasting inspired by her Andalusian kitchen.
This is not a cooking class or a formal presentation, but rather a chance to gather together, connect, learn, and experience Andalucía through the eyes of someone who has truly embraced it as home.
