Join us for an immersive experience dedicated to creative flow and cultural heritage. The day begins with a guided meditation and pattern selection, a mindful session designed to center your focus and connect you with the ancient symbolism behind Indonesian motifs.
You will then transition to a full hands-on workshop, where you’ll master the art of Batik from the very first drop of wax. Under the guidance of master artisans, you will:
Canting Drawing: Learn to control the canting tool to apply hot wax (malam) onto fine fabric.
Natural Dyeing: Immerse your creation in vibrant, traditional dyes to bring your patterns to life.
Wax Removal: Witness the magic of the final reveal as the wax is boiled away to uncover your unique design.
Experience a harmonious blend of artistic patience and ancestral craft to achieve a deep sense of accomplishment and creative renewal.
