Kimono Culture & Workshop - Parents Experience (Oct. 30)
Discover the traditions, history, and craftsmanship behind Japan’s iconic kimono.
Explore the concept of “kimono rank” (格) and learn how different garments are worn for everyday life and formal occasions — from yukata and komon to homongi, furisode, and traditional bridal kimono. We’ll also explore men’s kimono and the cultural significance behind different styles and materials.
Participants will have the opportunity to see and touch authentic garments, while our instructor demonstrates how a traditional bridal kimono is worn and shares its cultural background. Finally, enjoy a hands-on practice session where everyone can try wearing a kimono themselves, guided by our instructors.
A hands-on introduction to kimono that goes beyond clothing, exploring the culture, history, etiquette, and craftsmanship woven into each garment.
What to Bring:
Socks (Please wear socks, as bare feet can damage the tatami)
Tank top and leggings (These will be worn underneath your clothes during the kimono dressing experience. Please wear something comfortable and appropriate to wear underneath your clothes.)
Duration: Approximately 2-3 hours
Schedule: Friday, October 30th, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: Korin-An / Kimono Kannon
Minimum Participants Required: 8 Person
Maximum Participants: 16 Person

Each individual must purchase an individual ticket to secure their spot.
Sign-up Deadline: Friday, October 16th, 12:00 PM.
Additional Dates: If an experience is fully booked, it will be marked as an "Informational Post." If demand exceeds the minimum participant requirement, we will make every effort to coordinate an additional date with our partner.
No Date Changes: If the event sells out and we add another date, families will not be able to switch dates. They must attend on their original booking date.
Pricing analysis: The final price includes a 15% Boundless Life fee (12% management fee + 3% card processing fee).
Refunds: May be subject to processing fees, as outlined in the Terms of Service.
