Japanese Summer Traditions - Family Experience (Jun. 20)
Experience one of Japan's most beloved summer traditions in the beautiful natural surroundings of Kamakura-yama!
Join us for a special hands-on Nagashi Somen Family Experience at Chiba Farm, where families will not only enjoy fresh somen noodles, but also help create the experience from the very beginning.
Together, we will venture into the bamboo grove to cut and prepare bamboo, then build our own noodle lane before enjoying freshly prepared somen. Farm-fresh summer vegetables, including mini tomatoes and cucumbers harvested from the farm, will also make their way down the bamboo lane for everyone to enjoy.
After lunch, families will have the opportunity to participate in a seasonal harvest experience and learn more about local agriculture while spending time together in nature.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with Japanese summer culture, enjoy delicious seasonal food, and create lasting family memories.
