In this exciting workshop, children will explore the world of Japanese pottery in a playful and hands-on way. Through simple and fun activities, kids will create their own pottery pieces while learning about the cultural history of pottery in Kamakura, Japan.

What to Expect:

Over the course of 8 sessions, our experienced and renowned instructor, Kifumi Kawamura-sensei will guide children through pottery techniques that help develop fine motor skills, creativity, and patience, all while encouraging them to explore and express themselves through art.

Schedule:
Every Thursday (Feb. 12th is skipped due to half-term break)

  • February 5, 19, 26

  • March 5, 12, 19

Important Note:

  • A substitute teacher will be teaching the classes for Feb. 5th and Mar. 19th, as our regular teacher Kawamura-sensei are not able to attend. We assure you however that both teachers will work together to make the program coherent.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Deadline for Sign-Up: Thursday, January 15th - 12:00 PM Local Time

  • Half-Term Break: No ECAs during the week of February 9th, as the Education Center will be closed.

  • Refund Policy: Families have up to 24 hours after the first class (16:30 the next day) to decide to drop out and receive a refund for the remaining sessions. If the first session was attended, a one-off cost and a 10% processing fee will be deducted from the total reimbursed amount. After this 24-hour period, refunds will no longer be available. Please note that the activity have fixed dates and there no refunds for missed the classes.
