Guided Hike Through Nature and History (Oct 26th)
Join us for a unique walking adventure that blends nature, tradition, and breathtaking views!
We begin with a scenic trail through the hills above the bay, where we'll meet the mystical "Guardians of the Forest" – natural stone formations with their own story, perfect for photos and imagination.
The trail leads us to a wide gravel path and then to a short uphill walk (around 40 minutes) to St. Vid Church, located at 440 meters above sea level. This is one of the best panoramic viewpoints over Tivat and the surrounding bay. We'll take a 30-minute break here to relax and enjoy the view.
Our journey continues down to the charming village of Gornja Lastva, where we'll explore local heritage: walking the "Path of the Ancestors", visiting a viewpoint near the Church of the Virgin Mary, and entering a traditional house-turned-museum filled with old tools, weapons, and everyday objects from the past. A local host or guide will walk you through the history and meaning behind each piece.
Group tours of the house will be organized (4–5 people per group) for an authentic glimpse into life as it once was.
Note: Toddlers (0-3) are welcome despite the fact the hike is not stroller friendly so you can bring them on baby carriers. In Montenegro the busses are unfortunately not equipped with booster seats for the toddlers, in case you have one feel free to bring it.
Come walk with us through time and nature!
