Circus Traiblazers (Age 12-14)
Unlock Your Child’s Circus Skills with Our Circus Program!
Give your child the chance to explore movement, balance, focus, and creativity through a dynamic, playful, and safe Circus program! Designed specifically for ages 12–14, this ECA invites Trailblazers to go deeper into circus arts—experimenting, challenging themselves, and building skills through hands-on movement training.
Led by the Mana Surf Club Team (Nicolás / Elías + assistants), our instructors bring experience, patience, and a passion for movement-based learning. Their approach helps teens discover new abilities, refine coordination, and build confidence while staying active and having fun.
This age group will explore the same practices introduced in younger groups, but taken further—longer sessions, more complex challenges, and gradual progression into higher-level techniques. From slackline to juggling to beginner acrobatics, the program encourages curiosity, resilience, and mindful movement.
What to Expect
Interactive & Engaging Sessions
Trailblazers will explore movement-based games and progressive challenges designed for their age group. Each session helps them improve control, coordination, and body awareness while encouraging creativity and fun.
Slackline Progression
At this level, slackline practice will be done without assistance. Teens will work on:
Balance and stability
Controlled walking
Transitions and small tricks
Longer and more difficult challenges
They’ll also observe more advanced techniques to understand the mechanics behind them.
Juggling Development
This group will work with:
Three-ball juggling
Exploration of timing, rhythm, and hand–eye coordination
Introduction to how 4-ball juggling works, to build understanding and motivation
Optional attempts at more advanced patterns (difficulty is high, but experimentation is encouraged!)
Acrobatics & Body Control
Once fully warmed up, students will practice age-appropriate acrobatics:
Rolls, cartwheels, and controlled transitions
Strength and flexibility exercises
Introduction to more advanced acrobatic concepts, such as progressions toward frontflips and backflips
All advanced work is done with safety, spotting, and proper instructor guidance.
Mind–Body Connection
Teens develop resilience, patience, focus, and confidence. Mistakes are part of the learning process—and part of the fun.
Supportive, Play-Based Environment
We foster teamwork, self-expression, creativity, and personal challenge in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.
