Give your child the chance to discover the world of kayaking in a fun and educational program designed for Boundless families. This engaging ECA introduces kids aged 12–14 to kayaking fundamentals in a safe and supportive environment, giving them hands-on experience on water while fostering confidence, respect for nature and a spirit of adventure.
Foundational Training & Safety: Students learn fundamental kayak technique, safe water practices, and proper use of equipment.
Water & Nature Awareness: Introduction to aquatic environments, streams and wetlands, and respect for ecosystems.
Physical Development: Activities are designed to build general fitness and coordination in the water environment.
Flexible Plan: The workshop consists of 8 sessions (see schedule below). On rainy days, a theory class will be conducted at school at the same time.
Schedule: Thursday, starting January 22th from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

-January: 22 & 29
-February: 5, 19 & 26
-March: 5, 12 & 19
Location and Transportation: Walking from the EC with instructors to the Arroyo. (25 minutes walking with instructor)
Pick-up: 5:00 pm from the Arroyo Maldonado.

Deadline for Sign-Up: January 15th at 12pm
Half-Term Break: No ECAs during the week of February 9, as the education center will be closed.
Weather-Related Adjustments: Weather conditions may require changes to the teaching schedule. When the weather keeps us off the water, we focus on vital skills that enhance sea training. Indoor sessions include balance exercises, coordination drills, and strategy training, building strength, agility, and confidence for better performance on the water.
Refund Policy: Families have up to 24 hours after the first class to decide to drop out and receive a refund for the remaining sessions. If the first session was attended, a one-off cost and a 10% processing fee will be deducted from the total reimbursed amount. After this 24-hour period, refunds will no longer be available.
