A Day at the Lagoon and Beach Chiringuito
Viento en Popa is a youth sports center in Maldonado that works closely with the community of La Capuera, a rapidly growing neighborhood near Laguna del Sauce. Many families in La Capuera come from diverse backgrounds and the area still faces social and economic challenges, making access to safe recreational and educational spaces especially important.
Through free swimming and sailing programs, Viento en Popa offers local children and teenagers the chance to connect with nature, learn new skills, build confidence, and find a positive, supportive community. Their work makes a meaningful impact in a neighborhood where opportunities for structured activities can be limited.

After the experience, everyone is warmly invited to continue enjoying the day at the chiringuito in Ocean Park. Run by the same team behind the project, this classic Uruguayan beach spot is perfect for spend the afternoon on the beach, and choose to enjoy lunch, snacks, or drinks from the menu while embracing the laid-back coastal atmosphere.
Participant Recommendations:
Wear clothes that can get wet.
Life jackets are provided for all participants.
Bring sunscreen, a hat or cap, and water to stay comfortable and protected throughout the day.

Transportation: Not included . The pin will take you Exacly where the entrance is. You can go by car or by Uber.
Price: €25 per person
(This price does not include food or drinks. After the lagoon experience, there will be the option to visit the beach chiringuito, where you can choose to eat from their menu if you wish. Visiting the chiringuito is optional and it is located just a 10-minute drive from the lagoon.)

Minimum Participants Required: 6

Each individual must purchase an individual ticket to secure their spot.
Sign-up Deadline: March 3 at 12:00 PM
Additional Dates: If an experience is fully booked, it will be marked as an "Informational Post." If demand exceeds the minimum participant requirement, we will make every effort to coordinate an additional date with our partner.
No Date Changes: If the event sells out and we add another date, families will not be able to switch dates. They must attend on their original booking date.
Pricing analysis: The final price includes a 15% Boundless Life fee (12% management fee + 3% card processing fee).
Refunds: May be subject to processing fees, as outlined in the Terms of Service.
