Join Manuel for a hands-on family experience in the heart of Sintra at Quinta da Ribeira, an organic farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture, authentic experiences, and reconnecting people with the natural rhythms of the land.
Founded in 2020 on land that had been dormant for more than 30 years, Quinta da Ribeira has been carefully restored into a thriving space where life now flourishes: vegetable gardens bursting with color, vineyards tended with care, and animals that are part of the family. Every garden bed, every vine, and every corner of the farm tells a story of renewal, care, and interconnectedness.
Over 3.5 hours, we invite families to spend time outdoors, combining connection with nature, learning about organic farming, meeting the animals, and enjoying fresh flavors sourced directly from the earth. Designed for all ages, the experience blends shared family moments with dedicated activities tailored for both children and adults throughout the morning.
What to Expect:
Hands-On Farming Experience
Families will explore the vegetable gardens and vineyard while learning about organic farming practices through interactive activities. Whether planting or harvesting, everyone is encouraged to get their hands dirty and connect with the land! Along the way, you’ll meet the man behind the project and hear the inspiring story behind Quinta da Ribeira, gaining insight into the daily life, challenges, and joys of running a sustainable farm project.
Activities for Children
Children will partake in the farming activities whilst also having dedicated moments designed especially for them throughout the experience.
Meet the Farm Animals
Spend time with the farm’s gentle four-legged residents, helping feed them and learning how to interact respectfully with animals in a natural environment.
Vegetarian Cooking Workshop
Guided by the farm’s chef, families will take part in a relaxed introduction to vegetarian cuisine, discovering how to prepare simple and delicious dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients from the garden.
Farm-to-Table Tasting
We finish off with a wholesome tasting featuring farm-grown vegetables and refreshing healthy drinks, celebrating honest flavors, seasonal produce, and the joy of sharing a meal together!

Minimum Number of Participants: 15 adults

Each individual must purchase an individual ticket to secure their spot. Please note that tickets are not exchangeable.
For kids to participate, at least one parent should participate and vice versa.
Sign-up Deadline: Thursday, 9th of July at 12 PM
Pricing analysis: The final price includes a 15% Boundless Life fee (12% management fee + 3% card processing fee).
Refunds: Possible up to 15 days before the experience and subject to a 10% processing fee, as outlined in the Terms of Service.
