From Shore to Table: Low-tide Beach Foraging & Atlantic Dining (July 15)

€74.00

Join Zé on an authentic experience you won’t find on any menu: one that starts on the coast and finishes at the table!

Forage the Atlantic coast, cook what you find, and eat like a local.

At low tide, Praia do Magoito gives up its secrets. Meeting on the beach and guided by Zé, an extraordinary chef and true Sintra local who knows these shores and seas like the back of his hand, the first part of this experience is more than just a beach walk: you’ll learn how to spot and responsibly harvest the ocean’s edible species, from edible seaweed and shellfish to bivalves straight from the rocks and shallows, learning about the rhythms of the coast and local traditions.

We’ll then make our way to Zé’s home, where, back on dry land, you’ll learn how to clean and prepare your foraged finds, bringing your harvest to life before Zé transforms it into a stunning, tasty lunch, with carefully selected wine included to top off the experience!

Wild ingredients straight from the source, expert hands, local knowledge, and a table to enjoy the ocean’s pantry together in the Sintra countryside.
