Nature & Lace: A “Caldas” inspired Ceramics Family Morning (4 Oct.)
Celebrate the harmony between nature and tradition through clay on a family morning of ceramics-making!
Inspired by the legacy of Caldas da Rainha ceramics, this tailor-made family experience for our Boundless families invites parents & children to create decorative plates using natural imprints from cabbage leaves, fruits, and delicate lace, bringing a fusion of rustic charm and refined detail.
Workshop Highlights
Clay Imprinting Techniques: Learn how to press real cabbage leaves, figs, citrus slices, and lace into soft clay to create intricate textures and patterns.
Plate Shaping & Molding: Form round or organic-shaped plates that echo the natural curves of the materials used.
Color Play: Use Caldas-inspired colors (deep greens, earthy browns, and creamy whites) to highlight the textures.
