Clean the Beach, Create with Purpose!
Bring the community spirit to Guincho for a Family Give Back morning where we’ll get together for a beach clean-up followed by a creative upcycling activity. It's a chance to make a positive impact on our coastline, spend time outdoors, and realize how small actions can make a big difference.
We'll kick things off with one hour of beach cleaning, collecting rubbish and helping keep Guincho's beautiful coastline clean and protected.
But we're not stopping there! We’ll then take our rubbish back to Temper Pool & Bar, where our Sustainable Textiles & Art ECA partner, Emily, will facilitate a "Turning Trash to Treasures" workshop, as you give some of the collected waste a second life by transforming it into something creative and unexpected.
And as a little thank-you for your efforts, Boundless families will enjoy 20% off all food & drinks at Temper Pool & Bar! A well-deserved treat after helping take care of our local environment. 💚
What to expect:

Schedule: Saturday, 21 November, 11 AM - 1 PM
Meeting time: 11 AM
Meeting point: Parking area at Bar do Guincho.
Beach clean-up: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (approximately).
Creative upcycling session: 12:00 PM onwards (approximately 1 hour).
Ending point: Temper Pool & Bar.
What to bring
Comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for the beach.
Water & snacks
Cash or card for some drinks & pizzas at Temper

A little note: This initiative is weather-dependent, so we'll keep an eye on the forecast and confirm whether the activity can go ahead closer to the date.
Who can join?
All Boundless families & ages are welcome! This is a family-friendly initiative, so bring the kids, roll up your sleeves and join us for a morning of community action, creativity and connection. Children must be accompanied by a parent / guardian,

Maximum participants: No maximum number! The more the merrier!
Transport: Not included. Please make your own way there & back.

** Whilst this is a free event, please ensure you sign yourselves up if attending so we can prepare all logistics (gloves, spades, rubbish bags, sieves & materials for the upcycling workshop) accordingly!
