Join us for a meaningful afternoon of creativity, community and climate action with the Roots in Resistance project!
On 15 November, we'll head to Tapada das Mercês to take part in a hands-on community initiative focused on environmental awareness, social justice and building a greener neighbourhood.
Together with the Dínamo team and a local artist, we'll help paint the fence surrounding the local microforest, adding colour and creativity to a space that represents a greener future. As volunteers guided by the Dínamo team, you & your kids will also help to facilitate interactive games or take part in the community kitchen, which will culminate in a traditional Portuguese Magusto celebration, bringing everyone together around food, culture and shared experiences.
What to expect:
🎨 Collaborative fence painting led by a local artist.
🌍 Helping to facilitate interactive games exploring climate awareness.
🌳 An opportunity to contribute to a greener, cleaner neighbourhood.
🔥 A community kitchen and traditional Magusto celebration.
🤝 A chance to connect with local families and make a difference together.
