Wellness Offering: Fascia Release, Self-Massage & Sound Bath (Nov. 23)

€0.00

The final days of a big chapter can get busy… quickly! Between packing, organising, and preparing to return home or onto your next destination, it's easy to forget to give yourself a little moment of care.

So on your last week with us, we’ve saved a little moment for you to pause, unwind, release some tension, and recharge before your next adventure.

Guided by Alci, this workshop invites you to explore simple and mindful ways to release tension, reconnect with your body, and relax.

Have you ever wondered what fascia is, why it matters, or when your body might benefit from some fascia release?

Fascia is a connective tissue network that surrounds and connects our muscles, organs and other structures throughout the body. It also contains sensory nerve endings that communicate with our nervous system, helping us perceive movement, pressure and tension.

Stress, repetitive movements, physical activity and long periods of sitting can contribute to feelings of stiffness and discomfort. Gentle self-massage and mindful pressure can help ease that feeling of tension, improve body awareness and encourage relaxation.

During this workshop, we'll explore three relaxing practices

✨ 1. Fascia Release with Tennis Balls

We'll use tennis balls and gentle pressure to explore different areas of the body, helping to ease muscular tension and stiffness, particularly in areas where we tend to hold stress.

✨ 2. Aromatherapy & Self-Massage

Using a special blend of essential oils, we'll guide ourselves through a relaxing self-massage, focusing on some of the body's most common tension areas, such as the neck, shoulders, hands and feet.

✨ 3. Sound Bath & Deep Relaxation

We'll finish with a soothing sound bath, allowing the body and mind to slow down, unwind and fully enjoy a moment of rest.

When should we practise fascia release?

It can be a lovely addition to your routine after physical activity, following long hours sitting at a desk, whenever you feel stiff, or simply when you need a moment to reconnect with your body.

As you prepare to close this chapter in Sintra, allow yourself to put the to-do list aside for a little while. Come as you are, take a breath, and enjoy this moment of self-care.

Meeting Point: Family Lounge

Schedule: Monday, November 23rd from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Minimum Participants: 4

Maximum Participants: N/A

** Whilst this is a free event, please ensure you sign yourselves up if attending!
