Triangle sailing (Ages 8-12.11) | Group 1 | Monday & Wednesday
Discover the rich tradition of sailing in Greece, where the early seafaring civilization of the Greeks led to the exploration of new places with powerful fleets.
During our introduction to sailing lesson children will have the chance to:
learn about boat parts,
boat preparation,
basic knot tying,
and sailing techniques.

Location: Sailing Club in Agkathopes Beach
Time: 3:30pm-7:30pm
Ages: 8-12.11 years old
Minimum Participants Required: 7
Maximum Participants: 10
Important notes for parents:
Requirement: Ability to swim
Provided by the Nautical Club: Sailing equipment & life jacket
Parents must provide: Swimsuit, slippers, towel, sunscreen (must be applied half an hour before), change of clothes, snack
Transportation Included: Yes, with a trusted chaperone included
Sailing lesson structure:
Two instructors will be present throughout the session. Children will rotate one by one in the training sailboat, while the rest of the group stays with the instructor in the support speedboat, observing and learning together in the bay.
Time schedule:
3:30pm- 4:00pm - Transfer & change outfit
4pm-7:00pm - Lesson
7:00pm-7:30pm - Wrap up & transfer
7:30 - Pickup up by parents at port parking
Important information: Please note that weather conditions might necessitate adjustments to the teaching material, such as including more theory, individual practice in shallow waters close to shore or in cases of severe weather, rescheduling the lesson to a different date.
Terms & Conditions:
Sign-up deadline: Thursday, 9th of July, 12pm
Age limit: Eligible participants must be between 8 and 12.11 years of age, having reached their 8th birthday prior to the activity start date.
Cancellation policy: No refunds will be available for ECAs during our shorter, seasonal Getaway cohorts.
