Are you ready to discover Alithini?
On this walk, we will hike to the small village of Alithini following the ancient path that connected the village to Ano Syros.
From Alithini you can admire the most beautiful view of the island: Ermoupoli, Ano Syros, Didimi islet on which stands the lighthouse… But further back, when the atmosphere allows it, you can see Tinos and Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, and numerous smaller islands among them.
Alithini is a traditional village of Syros, built on the slope of one of the hills in the center of the island, at an altitude of 190 meters. It has about 80 permanent residents.
Don't forget to wear your training clothes and training shoes and bring water if you feel you will need it!
