Kung Fu (Age 7+)
What to expect
Kung Fu is a powerful and inspiring way for children to learn respect, discipline, and self-control. More than just a martial art, it teaches kids to focus on defense rather than offense, helping them grow both physically and mentally.
Our instructor, Gabriele Finocchiaro, has been practicing Taijiquan since 2007 and has achieved the rank of black beltin the Chenjia Gou (Chen-style) Kung Fu tradition. He leads the ASD ITKA Pistoia, a recognized local martial arts association dedicated to authentic and mindful practice.
Kung Fu is not just about movement—it’s about growing up with confidence and integrity.
Program Overview
The Chen-style Kung Fu program combines physical training, postural work, and emotional development to support each child’s overall growth. Through dynamic exercises, balance drills, and partner activities based on soft and respectful interaction, students improve coordination, strength, and body awareness.
At the same time, they develop important life skills such as self-confidence, emotional resilience, respect for others, and the ability to work within a group.
This well-rounded approach helps children grow not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally, fostering focus, calm, and inner strength.
