Jiu-Jitsu (Age 4-7) | Tuesday
What to expect
Jiu-Jitsu is a playful, empowering, and deeply educational way for young children to grow with confidence and self-awareness.
More than a martial art, it offers a safe and engaging environment where kids learn to move, listen, cooperate, and express themselves—always at their own rhythm and in full respect of their individuality.
The course will be held at Fight Gym Pistoia and led by Alberto Tesi, President of the A.S.D. Fight Gym Pistoia. Alberto is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with solid competitive experience. He is a certified BJJ instructor recognized by FIJLKAM, specialized in early childhood learning, as well as a FIGMMA Grappling Coach and Functional Training Coach.
He will be joined by Giulia Dragonetti, a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and an instructor specialized in children’s education and training. Giulia is also a qualified teacher of gentle postural gymnastics, bringing a warm, mindful, and development-focused approach to the program
Program Overview
The Jiu-Jitsu program for children aged 3 to 6 is designed to be warm, engaging, and fully age-appropriate. At this age, Jiu-Jitsu becomes a powerful developmental tool that strengthens coordination, attention, emotional awareness, respect for others, and the ability to work together. The program includes sports insurance and a complete welcome kit with an academy T-shirt, backpack, and water bottle, helping every child feel part of the group from the very first moments on the mat. Through this gentle yet structured approach, young students develop confidence, resilience, and a natural sense of connection with themselves and with others.
