Led by Francesca, this walking tour offers an introduction to Florence’s rich history and wine culture, bringing together the stories of the city, its people and its centuries-old traditions.
As we explore the historic centre, Francesca will share stories and anecdotes about Florence’s past, its architecture, traditions and relationship with wine.
Along the way, we’ll visit three historic buchette del vino and discover the fascinating stories behind these small openings, from their origins in Florence’s winemaking tradition to their use during times of plague and restrictions.
At selected stops, you’ll also have the option to choose wines to sample from a selection of local favorites (wine is at your own expense), adding a taste of Tuscany to our exploration of Florence.

Transportation: We will reach Florence by train. Train will leave from Pistoia at 10.13 am

What to bring: Comfortable sneakers and weather-appropriate gear and clothes, as the tour will take place outdoors
What is not included: Round Trip train ticket to Florence, wine expenses, food
